Aetoma traditional hotel is situated in Nafplion, in the Argolida county of the Peloponnese peninsula in Southern Greece.
The Argolida is well known for many reasons, not least of which is its close proximity to the capital of Greece, Athens, making it an attractive destination all year round. During the summer months tourists flock to the Argolida to relax for their summer holidays, taking advantage of the beautiful beaches of the area such as Karathona & Arvanitia in Nafplion, and further around the coast Tolo, Drepano, Vivari, Candia (Kondyli), Iria, Porto Heli to name a few.
The archaeological sites close to Nafplio are many, the most famous being Ancient Mycenae which a whole era is named after and the unique amphitheatre of Epidavros with its amazing acoustics, both of which are less than half an hour away from the Hotel Aetoma.
Lesser known sites of historic interest in the Argolida are Ancient Tiryns, Midea, Lerna, Iraio, Argos and many more. Other places of interest in the Argolida county are too many too mention, but include Methana (inactive volcano and sulphur springs).
